President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih has inaugurated the newly developed harbour and volleyball court in Kihaadhoo, Baa Atoll.
MT Højgaard Private Limited completed the harbour development project, which included dredging operations, the installation of a 231m gravel bed, a 209m revetment, and a 326m quay wall. In addition, Brilliant Company Private Limited developed the modern volleyball court in the island.
The administration stated it has made significant progress towards achieving equitable development across all inhabited islands in the Maldives. This includes improving the quality of life for citizens and empowering them to lead dignified lives.
