Bangkok Airways to resume winter flights to Maldives

Thailand's Bangkok Airways has decided to resume winter flights to the Maldives in September.

Bangkok Airways operated charter flights to the Maldives in the previous winter season. The airline will resume flights connecting Sunabami International Airport to Velana International Airport (VIA) for the upcoming winter season as well. These flights are scheduled to operate from September 1 to December 31. In addition, travellers who secure their bookings before September 30 will be eligible for discounted tickets. The round-trip fare is approximately USD500.

Bangkok has now become a burgeoning source market for tourist arrivals in the Maldives. Moreover, a substantial number of Maldivians also travel to Bangkok for business, leisure, and various other endeavors. In light of these trends, the reintroduction of these flights will provide exceptional convenience.
