Ministry of National Planning, Housing and Infrastructure has contracted Road Development Corporation Limited (RDC) to develop roads in Kolhufushi, Meemu Atoll. The agreement was signed by the Director General at the Planning Ministry Fathimath Shana Farooq and the General Manager of RDC Hassan Saeed.
RDC is tasked to complete the development of roads in Kolhufushi within 730 days at a cost of USD6 million. The scope of the project includes paving 2.8km of the main road with asphalt, as well as the installation of drainage systems and street lights.
The project was contracted to RDC on a design and build basis.
