President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih has inaugurated the newly completed infrastructure projects in three islands.

During the visit to the islands, President Solih inaugurated the newly completed infrastructure projects on Himendhoo in Alif Alif Atoll and Olhuvelifushi in Lhaviyani Atoll. These projects encompassed a new football ground on Himendhoo and a powerhouse on Olhuvelifushi.

The football ground on Himendhoo was surfaced with turf and developed to include amenities by Amin Construction Private Limited. The powerhouse on Olhuvelifushi is a facility that represents an improvement to the existing infrastructure. Its strategic location, away from the residential area, minimises disruption to the island's inhabitants.

Moreover, President Solih visited Kurendhoo in Lhaviyani Atoll to celebrate the completion of infrastructure projects initiated by his administration. During his visit, the President marked the completion of the coastal protection project and inaugurated the newly developed powerhouse and Fenaka office.

The Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) completed the coastal protection project, which entailed the installation of 822 metres of revetment and 361 metres of breakwater. The newly opened Fenaka office, strategically situated, is a spacious and modern facility that can house numerous personnel.

Under President Solih's leadership, the administration has achieved significant strides towards equitable development across all inhabited islands in the Maldives. This includes enhancing the quality of life for citizens and empowering them to lead dignified lives. During his visits to various islands, President Solih is officially inaugurating the completion of numerous projects and services.
