President inaugurates new infrastructure in Makunudhoo and Kumundhoo

President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih has inaugurated new infrastructure projects in Makunudhoo and Kumundhoo in Haa Dhaalu Atoll.

During his visit to Makunadhoo, President Solih opened the new office of the Fenaka Corporation Limited which showcases modern design and functionality, with a spacious, state-of-the-art facility that accommodates up to 30 employees.

In Kumundhoo, President Solih opened the new powerhouse, with a power generation capacity of 1,000kW, to provide a reliable energy source for the local community and help solve numerous issues faced by the community. The powerhouse will improve the quality of life of residents and support the continued development of the island. He also opened the Fenaka office which is a spacious and modern facility accommodating up to 30 employees.

The administration said it has made significant strides towards equitable development across all inhabited islands in the Maldives. It includes improving the quality of life for citizens and empowering them to lead dignified lives.

During his visits to various islands, President Solih is officially inaugurating the completion of numerous projects and services.
