Male' City Council renovates and reopens two parks

Male' City Council has renovated and reopened two of the capital city's previously established children's parks. The renovated parks are Iskandharu Maizaan and Bisburu Park. The two parks were officially reopened by the Mayor of Male' City Dr. Mohamed Muizzu.

In his address during the ceremony, Muizzu expressed his concern about the prior neglect these parks had experienced. He noted that these recreational spaces were originally designed to cater to the enjoyment of both children and adults throughout different parts of the city, but had fallen into disrepair. Muizzu pledged to restore them to their former glory, complete with additional amenities for the public's enjoyment.

In addition, both parks have introduced a convenient small canteen for visitors to grab refreshments. Furthermore, there are now strategically placed dustbins to ensure the cleanliness and tidiness of the premises.

The City Council has confirmed that the renovation efforts are ongoing, with more parks slated for repair and reopening in the near future.
