Gov't contracts to build new classroom building in Dhiyamigili

Ministry of Education has contracted Eco Investment Maldives Private Limited to build a new classroom building at the school in Dhiyamigili, Thaa Atoll. The agreement of the project was signed by the Senior Policy Director at the Education Ministry and the Director of Eco Investment Fazleen Mohamed.

The project includes the construction of a 10-classroom building at Dhiyamigili School. The project was awarded to be completed within 13 months at a cost of USD650,000.

The project is part of a multitude of projects launched across the country to develop additional infrastructure for schools in the atolls. The project aims to resolve difficulties faced in schools due to lack of space, and upgrade the capacity of schools.
