President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu has officially renamed the Male' Hospitals Board of Trustees as the Male' City Group of Hospitals' Governing Board.
The governing board is responsible for the management of Dharumavantha Hospital, Indira Gandhi Memorial Hospital (IGMH), Hulhumale' Hospital, and Villimale' Hospital.
The Male' City Group of Hospitals' Governing Board will be administratively overseen under the purview of the Ministry of Health. This change initiated by the President signifies a reconstitution of the governing board.
