Vice President Hussain Mohamed Latheef has applauded the exemplary diligence of the staff of the Ministry of Islamic Affairs. He made the remark during his visit to the Islamic ministry.
Vice President Latheef made the visit to meet with the management and staff of the Islamic ministry. Minister of Islamic Affairs Dr. Mohamed Shaheem Ali Saeed greeted the Vice President upon his arrival at the ministry.
At the meeting, Vice President Latheef underscored President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu's strategic vision of nurturing close relations with the people. He emphasised the importance of ensuring efficient service delivery to the people and applauded the exemplary diligence demonstrated by the ministry staff in proposing significant enhancements to the ministry's efforts within the initial four weeks towards the actualisation of the administration's roadmap for the first 14 weeks in office.
Speaking at the meeting, Minister Shaheem detailed the works of the ministry within the initial four weeks of the administration to Vice President Latheef. The Vice President also held a separate meeting with the ministry's management afterwards. The ministry gifted the Vice President a copy of a book on Zakat.
