President decides to establish Presidential Youth Advisors board

President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu has approved the decision for the establishment of a board called Presidential Youth Advisors, with the aim of fostering greater involvement of youth in national affairs and providing a platform for them to express their perspectives in consultations and decision-making processes. The decision was approved by the Cabinet of Ministers and the President.

Speaking at a press conference held at the President's Office, Principal Secretary to the President on Public Policy announced the decision and highlighted that the formation of the board aims to address youth concerns and empower them through the creation of employment opportunities.

Additionally, Ibrahim explained that the composition of the board will include nationally recognised athletes, as well as students from national universities and secondary schools, with an age range of 18-30 years. Emphasising the government's commitment, he stated that the board is expected to enhance youth participation in national affairs and strengthen their engagement at the national level.

Furthermore, Ibrahim disclosed that President Dr. Muizzu has decided to discuss the decisions made by the Presidential Youth Advisors Board at the Cabinet level. He also said that the President plans to involve board members in international meetings that he attends, thereby providing them with a platform to contribute on an international scale.
