President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu has held discussions on national issues with former President Dr. Mohamed Waheed Hassan. The discussions were held during a meeting at the President’s Office.
During the meeting, the two leaders discussed social and political issues in the country. They also spoke on other initiatives and programmes aimed at the betterment of the people and the nation.
Mohammed Waheed Hassan Manik was the 5th President of Maldives, serving from February 7, 2012 to November 17, 2013. He assumed office following the resignation of President Mohamed Nasheed, under whom Waheed had served as the Vice President.
