IASL seeks wide-body aircraft for international flights

The Island Aviation Services Limited (IASL) is seeking a wide-body aircraft for international flight operations.

IASL has invited all eligible parties to submit their proposal to provide one Airbus A330-200 aircraft on dry lease basis for a preferred lease period of five years. The bid registration is open for interested parties up to January 18, 1430hrs. In order to participate in the bid, all respondents are required to provide the expression of interest by mailing the filled expression of interest form to the IASL procurement email.

IASL stated that national airline Maldivian will cover the cost of all international flights operated by chartered aircraft. Island Aviation also stated that the new aircraft will connect the Maldives to more overseas destinations and carry a large number of passengers. It expressed its commitment to increase international flight operations by adding more aircraft to its fleet.
