Two councilors of Male’ City sign to PNC

Two councilors of the Male' City Council have signed to the ruling People's National Congress (PNC).

North Henveiru constituency councilor Aishath Nizleen Rasheed and Central Galolhu constituency’s The Democrats councilor Mariyam Reehan Nazim signed to the party at a campaign rally. Nizleen was formerly in the Maldivian Democratic Party (MDP) while Reehan was in The Democrats. The two councilors signed the forms for the party and were handed over by President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu.

Three seats in the council remain vacant after councilors resigned to assume posts in the government. They are South Henveiru seat, Central Henveiru seat and South Maafannu seat.
