Social Ministry opens call centre

The Ministry of Social and Family Development has opened a call centre.

The ministry stated that individuals can contact the call centre by dialing 1433 to receive quick and convenient services. The call centre is a new number in addition to the existing social services helpline 1421 and children's helpline 1412. The social services helpline and children's helpline are 24-hour services, while the call centre is open at specific hours.

The call centre will be open from 0830hrs to 1330hrs on non-public holidays. In cases where calls are not picked up, the call information will be stored in a separate system and the call centre will respond to such calls at a later time. The call center will use the state-of-the-art call management system to log every call and share information with the relevant authorities to further strengthen the services provided to the public.

The ministry stated that it aims to provide services to the public in the most convenient manner with speed and reliability. The ministry also aims to work with the public to find solutions to the problems they face.
