Minister of Islamic Affairs Dr. Mohamed Shaheem Ali Saeed has revealed that three mosques will be built in the Greater Male' Region with the backing of private benefactors.
In a social media post, Minister Shaheem said that two of the mosques will be built in Hulhumale' and one in Male' City. He said the mosques will be built within one-and-a-half years with the generous assistance of private benefactors.
Additionally, Minister Shaheem said that a modern Islamic library will be established at the Holy Quran Centre, adding that libraries are the beacon of Islamic civilization. The library will be built to provide a conducive scientific environment for youth and scientific researchers.
