Deputy Speaker of the Parliament of Uganda Thomas Tayebwa has paid a courtesy call on Speaker of Parliament of the Maldives Mohamed Aslam.
The meeting was held during Deputy Speaker Tayebwa's visit to the Maldives on the invitation of Speaker Aslam. During the meeting, the two officials discussed strengthening relations between the Parliaments of the two countries.
During the visit, Deputy Speaker Tayebwa also met Deputy Speaker Ahmed Saleem and took a tour of the Parliament of the Maldives. He also held a meeting with Minister of Foreign Affairs Moosa Zameer before departing.
