Fisheries Minister attends Saudi Marine Exhibition

Minister of Fisheries and Ocean Resources, Ahmed Shiyam, has attended the opening ceremony of the Saudi International Marine Exhibition in Riyadh, upon invitation extended by Minister of Environment, Water, and Agriculture, Abdulrahman Abdulmohsen.

In a post shared on X, Minister Shiyam underscored the exhibition's significance as a crucial platform for enhancing business connections and facilitating the exchange of information across diverse fields.

The Saudi International Marine Exhibition, held in Riyadh from February 4-6, 2024, stands as a pivotal event fostering global unity among fisheries experts. With over 120 companies and 3,000 businessmen from 35 countries in attendance, the exhibition attracted more than 15,000 visitors.

Beyond being a testament to Saudi Arabia's impact in the field, the exhibition serves as a bridge connecting stakeholders in the marine and fisheries industries. By promoting collaboration and innovation among participants, the platform is specifically crafted to facilitate meaningful discussions on sustainable practices and technological advancements in fisheries.
