President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu has arrived on a three-day visit to the islands of Thaa Atoll.
President Dr. Muizzu’s initial destination is Guraidhoo in Thaa Atoll, where he received the highest percentage of votes in the presidential election. He had previously announced that he would honour the island with his maiden visit as the president.
President Dr. Muizzu is slated to visit several islands of Thaa Atoll, where he is scheduled to meet with residents, island councils, and women’s development committees (WDCs). During his visit, the President will discuss pertinent developmental concerns and inquire about the needs of the community. He has also reiterated his pledge to work closely with the citizens and visit all the islands in the Maldives on a regular basis.
President Dr. Muizzu is accompanied by a high-level government delegation on his tour to Thaa Atoll.
