Leader of the Jumhooree Party (JP) Qasim Ibrahim has expressed his admiration for President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu's Presidential Address to the Parliament, stating that it stands out as the most comprehensive and detailed one ever delivered. He made the statement on social media following the Presidential Address.
In a post on X, Qasim conveyed his congratulations and best wishes to President Muizzu, emphasising that the President's speech encompassed an unprecedented level of detail.
Additionally, Qasim praised President Muizzu's address for providing an extensive overview of the country's past and present situation, outlining his aspirations for the future and presenting hopeful solutions. He highlighted the address's adherence to Article 84 of the Constitution, which mandates an overview of the nation's affairs, backed by statistics and research. He also said that the President successfully fulfilled this constitutional requirement in what he described as the most thorough Presidential Address in Maldivian history.
