Vice President urges everyone to serve the nation and religion faithfully

Vice President Hussain Mohamed Latheef has urged the public to find fulfillment in dedicated service to the nation and religion with loyalty and honesty. He conveyed this message during the official ceremony commemorating Martyrs' Day at the Social Centre.

During his speech, the Vice President emphasised the importance of learning from the sacrifices of our heroes, highlighting the prioritisation of religion and the country's independence over personal interests. He reiterated President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu's remarks on Martyrs' Day, particularly noting the valuable lesson for students drawn from the sacrifice of Sultan Ali IV. The Vice President expressed gratitude towards the President for reinstating the celebration of Martyrs' Day as a day of national significance.

In his address, he underscored the importance of remembering Sultan Ali IV's sacrifice as crucial for protecting the nation, Islamic values, and unity. The ceremony was attended by ministers, high-ranking Government officials, and foreign ambassadors.
