President appoints Husnu Al Suood as a JSC member

President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu has appointed Supreme Court Justice Husnu Al Suood as a member of the Judicial Service Commission (JSC).

During the ceremony at the President's Office, the President presented the appointment letter to Husnu Al Suood. He then signed his appointment letter upon being sworn in.

The President made the appointment per Article 158(b) of the Constitution of the Republic of Maldives and Article 3(2) of the Judicial Service Commission Act.

Prior to his appointment, Husnu Al Suood took his oath in the presence of the President, with Supreme Court Justice Ali Rasheed Hussain administering the oath.
