Maldives Maritime Conference to be held on March 6

The Maldives Maritime Conference, organised by Maldives Ports Limited (MPL), is scheduled for March 6. The event serves as a platform for engaging with international maritime experts.

Given the status of the Maldives as a developing island nation, its maritime sector plays a crucial role in linking economic progress and global trade networks of the Maldives. The conference aims to convene a diverse array of stakeholders and experts to deliberate on the sector's growth and address prevailing challenges. It offers a forum for exchanging perspectives and exploring strategies for advancement.

Participants include maritime companies, local and international stakeholders, and industry leaders, with contributions from both domestic and foreign speakers.

Interested parties can register for the conference until February 25. The conference is being held at Paradise Island Resort. It is being held in collaboration with the International Ports and Harbors (IAPH), the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD), the Port of Johor in Malaysia, and the Port of Valencia in Spain.
