President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu has met the members of the Council of Rathafandhoo, Gaafu Dhaalu Atoll and Women’s Development Committee (WDC) at the Fiyoaree Council Secretariat to discuss pressing issues on the island.
In the meeting, council members highlighted several critical issues, including the collapse of the Health Centre building, limited space in the Council building and harbour, insufficient access to proper medication, the need for mosque renovations, and resources for youth development. Additionally, the delayed construction of the ice plant was brought to the forefront.
President Dr. Muizzu assured the Council members that the Administration would closely address the ongoing issues to meet their concerns. The accompanying ministers briefed the Council members on the proposed course of action in response to the issues raised during the meeting.
