President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu has met with members of the Island Council and the Women's Development Committee (WDC) of Gahddhoo, Gaafu Dhaalu Atoll at the Gaafu Dhaalu Atoll School.
During the meeting, the Council highlighted the imperative for land reclamation on the island and expressed optimism about accelerating the construction of the planned hospital. They also voiced concerns regarding limited office space, the necessity to enhance the education sector, and the island's social development.
Addressing the gathering, the President assured the Council that the Administration would steadfastly fulfill its developmental commitments to the island. Furthermore, the President acknowledged the concerns raised by the Council and affirmed that the Administration would thoroughly assess them.
