President concludes tour to some parts of the South

President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu has successfully concluded his extensive tour, covering Addu City, Fuvahmulah City, and various islands across North and South Huvadhoo Atolls.

Commencing the tour in Addu City, the President engaged with residents and the City Council, addressing and discussing the city's developmental needs. The visit extended to Fuvahmulah and Thinadhoo cities, where fruitful discussions were held with their respective city councils. Subsequently, the President proceeded to various islands of Gaafu Dhaalu and Gaafu Alifu Atolls, actively engaging with local councils and communities.

A significant milestone during the tour was the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for the preliminary design and survey of the bridge project connecting Addu City's Hithadhoo and Hulhumeedhoo. This project holds prominence for Addu City. Additionally, the President inaugurated the second phase of the road development project in Fuvahmulah City. Noteworthy MoUs were also signed for the development of Thinadhoo City's International Airport and GA. Vilin'gili Island's International Airport Development Project.

The President's delegation, comprising high-level government officials, accompanied him throughout the tour, demonstrating the government's commitment to understanding and addressing the developmental needs of the visited regions.
