Integrated tourism development project will be made a reality

President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu has affirmed the government's commitment to fulfilling all pledges for the economic development of Kolamaafushi Island, particularly focusing on making the Integrated Tourism Development Project a reality. The President made these statements during discussions with the residents of Kolamaafushi, Gaafu Alifu Atoll.

At a meeting held at Kolamaafushi School, President Muizzu announced plans for constructing a city hotel under the Integrated Tourism Development Project, specifying that the project would commence following finalization by the economic council.

President Muizzu reiterated the government's dedication to nationwide development, emphasizing that the Administration would not solely depend on the existing budget. Instead, the government plans to attract investors and developers, bolster the private sector, and green-light projects with substantial investment potential.

The President is on a tour accompanied by a high-level Government delegation, visiting various islands in Addu City, Fuvahmulah City, and the North and South Huvadhu Atolls.
