President meets Naivaadhoo Island Council and WDC

President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu has met with the Island Council of Naivaadhoo and Women's Development Committee (WDC) members at Nellaidhoo School.

During the meeting, the Council members expressed concerns regarding the progress of development initiatives and emphasized the need to expedite the projects. They specifically highlighted the necessity for a mosque and a police post on the island. Additionally, the Council requested the Administration's support for their initiative to transition to renewable energy sources.

Meanwhile, WDC members pointed out budget constraints in conducting their activities.

In response, President Dr. Muizzu assured the Council members that he would address their concerns. Cabinet Ministers in attendance also provided updates on the Administration's ongoing efforts to resolve the highlighted issues. This collaborative approach reflects the commitment to addressing the specific needs and concerns of Naivaadhoo for its sustainable development.
