President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu has met with the members of the Sh. Feydhoo Island Council and the Women's Development Committee (WDC) at the Secretariat of Kan'ditheemu Council.
During the meeting, the Council shared the key issues to resolve for the island's development. These encompass erosion management, road infrastructure development, and the establishment of a youth center.
Additionally, the Council members emphasised the necessity of ATM services and enhanced housing opportunities. They also requested the installation of air conditioning in school classrooms and the facilitation of reduced electricity charges during Ramadan.
The WDC of Feydhoo highlighted the absence of a dedicated office for their work.
Addressing the meeting, the President affirmed that the Administration would prioritize the concerns relayed by the Council. The collaborative discussion aimed at addressing the developmental needs of Feydhoo demonstrates the commitment to fostering comprehensive growth and addressing the unique challenges faced by the island community.
