President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu has met with members of the Komandoo Island Council and Women's Development Committee (WDC) at the Secretariat of the Shaviyani Atoll Education Centre.
During the meeting, Council members highlighted development needs, including the swift installation of a seawall, expediting the sewerage network project, completing the Ice Plant establishment, resolving water network issues, and developing an airport to boost tourism and economic growth.
Komandoo WDC members discussed challenges related to space constraints and shared their preparations for the upcoming holy month of Ramadan. President Muizzu assured the Administration's commitment to addressing these concerns, and the attending Ministers provided updates on the Government's ongoing efforts to tackle these issues.
