President meets Landhoo Island Council

President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu has met with the members of the Landhoo Council, where the Council members emphasised the community's most critical needs and concerns.

During the meeting, they highlighted the necessity for a modern tar-road and sports facility development. They also underscored the need to renovate the island’s harbour, create a designated area for swimming, and construction of a slipway.

Furthermore, members of the Council expressed their support for the development of the museum initiative. Additionally, they reaffirmed their commitment to supporting the Administration's developmental initiatives for the island.

During the meeting, members of the Women’s Development Committee (WDC) underscored various challenges faced.

Speaking at the meeting, President Dr. Muizzu assured the Council members that he would address and find solutions to all the issues raised. The attending Ministers provided updates on the Government's ongoing efforts to address these concerns.
