Maldives condemns Israeli attack on Palestinians waiting on aid

The Maldives has condemned the heinous attack perpetrated by Israeli forces on unarmed Palestinian civilians who were waiting for humanitarian aid.

In a statement, the Maldives said that the brutal assault, resulting in the tragic loss of over one hundred innocent civilians and injuries to hundreds more, is a grave violation of international law and human rights standards. The country reiterated its call to bring an immediate ceasefire to ensure the protection of civilians in accordance with the international law, and calls on the international community to take immediate and decisive action to hold the perpetrators accountable.
