Male' City Council has announced a two-hour vehicle ban in Male' City during Eid al-Fitr celebrations. The ban will be enforced from 1600hrs to 1800hrs, coinciding with Eid activities scheduled for that period.
This annual prohibition aims to facilitate unhindered pedestrian movement, allowing families to walk on the roads comfortably during the festive occasion.
Following the Eid prayers, the city council has organized various activities at the Ekuveni track, including an Eid tea gathering, "Bodumas maali negun" festivities, fireworks, and a stage show.
