Managing Director of the State Electric Company Limited (STELCO) Hussain Fahmy has affirmed that he will not penalise any employee based on their political beliefs, emphasising the importance of keeping politics separate from work and focusing on achieving the company's objectives.
Speaking to PSM News, Fahmy highlighted the diversity of political ideologies among STELCO employees. He assured that the company will uphold the rights of its employees to hold differing political views, acknowledging that everyone is entitled to their own perspectives.
Addittionally, Fahmy emphasised the company's commitment to steering clear of political involvement and prioritising efforts towards local development. He reiterated his stance on hiring, stating that political affiliation will not influence recruitment decisions.
Furthermore, Fahmy underscored the significance of technical expertise in the company's operations, emphasising the its need for skilled personnel. He stressed that recruiting individuals based on their qualifications and abilities remains a top priority for the company.
