Pilot project of nationalism revival to begin in MNDF

The Ministry of Dhivehi Language, Culture and Heritage has held discussions with the Maldives National Defence Force (MNDF), to launch the first pilot programme, "Ajumafiyavahi".

Speaking at the meeting, Minister of Dhivehi Language, Culture and Heritage Adam Naseer Ibrahim emphasised the pivotal role MNDF plays, given its initial assignment under the Nationalism Restoration Programme. The minister stressed the significance of all the military departments to understand the full meaning of the national project.

Aiming to achieve this overarching goal, several informative sessions have been held between the ministry and MNDF officers and officials, to discuss the scope of the project and other initiatives within it. Shedding light on the sessions conducted, the ministry revealed that preparations to launch the project have commenced this month, in collaboration with the military forces.

The discussion was attended by the Minister of State for Dhivehi Language, Culture and Heritage Mohamed Shahuruzziyad, Deputy Minister of Dhivehi Language, Culture and Heritage Aminath Ibrahim and Major (rtd) Abdullah Ali, Brigadier Abdullah Ibrahim, Colonel Ali Manik and Captain Husham.
