Foreign Minister departs on an official visit to Qatar

Minister of Foreign Affairs Moosa Zameer has embarked on an official visit to Qatar, scheduled from May 11 to 13.

During his trip, Minister Zameer will meet with Qatar’s Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Sheikh Mohamed Bin AbdulRahman Bin Jasim Al-Thani, to discuss avenues for further strengthening the longstanding bilateral relations between the two countries.

Additionally, Minister Zameer is scheduled to engage with senior government officials and executives of Qatar to explore opportunities for enhanced cooperation and joint collaboration across various sectors.

Accompanying him on this official trip are esteemed officials, including Bilateral Secretary Dr. Hala Hameed and Ambassador-at-Large Dr. Fazeel Najeeb.

This year marks the 40th anniversary of bilateral relations between the Maldives and Qatar, adding significance to the visit.
