Former President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih has met with the candidates from the Maldivian Democratic Party (MDP), who successfully secured seats during the parliamentary elections held in April.
MDP affirmed that Former President Solih met with all the successful MDP candidates who were currently in Male' City. However, MDP has not disclosed any further information regarding the meeting.
Previously, Former President Solih reiterated the steadfast commitment of MDP's candidates, who will continue to strive to hold the current administration accountable.
In the parliamentary elections held on April 21, a total of 90 candidates representing MDP competed for 93 various constituency seats. However, only 12 candidates accomplished in securing the respective seats.
