President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu and First Lady Sajidha Mohamed have arrived in Malé, after performing Umrah on the gracious hospitality of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman Bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud.
The president and first lady upon arrival was received by Vice President Hussain Mohamed Latheef and senior government officials.
During this visit from May 10 to 15, the President was accompanied by the Minister of Islamic Affairs Dr. Mohamed Shaheem Ali Saeed, Head Imaam of the Islamic Centre Sheikh Mohamed Latheef, Chief of Staff, the President's Office Abdulla Fayaz, Minister at the President’s Office for Presidential Affairs Ali Arif and Minister at the President’s Office Abdulla Nasir.
During the visit, the president met with Maldivian students in Madinah. The meeting was attended by twenty-four Madinah-based students, who brought their needs and concerns to the President's attention during the meeting.
