President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu has met with Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Tonga, Siaosi 'Ofakivahafolau Sovaleni, on the sidelines of the fourth International Conference on Small Island Developing States (SIDS4) in Antigua and Barbuda.
The discussions centered on the need for Small Island Developing States (SIDS) to achieve self-sufficiency as they pursue their developmental goals. The leaders also explored ways to improve access to multilateral climate funds.
Both leaders reaffirmed their commitment to combating the climate crisis and expressed a shared dedication to working together to achieve sustainable development and prosperity for all.
