Preparations have been made to commence the Maldives Marine Industry Forum 2024. This is the second such forum being held. The forum is organised by Medium Events Private Limited, a popular event planner assisting to promote the marine industry of the nation in collaboration with Maldives Boating Association.
The forum is slated to take place on July 6. It will hold significant discussions pertaining to various challenges faced within the marine industry along with potential solutions, with the experts of the industry, high-profile government dignitaries and private enterprises. The discussions will be centred across four major themes: cargo management, strategies to promote the market for boating, measures to implement to promote the industry and marketing of Maldivian vessels at international markets.
The forum intends to improve relationships between various stakeholders in the industry and thereby facilitate business and bolster the economic performance.
The Maldives Marine Industry Forum was initially held in 2023. Efforts are underway to boost the marine industry of the nation and determine business opportunities within the industry such that it positively impacts the tourism industry as well.
