HDC initiates construction of kiosks in Hulhumale' phase II

The Housing Development Corporation (HDC) has commenced the construction of kiosks in Hulhumale' Phase II.

Earlier, HDC had issued a strong directive for the removal of huts, including snack carts, coffee stalls, and food outlets, by June 15, which were ultimately cleared by June 18 due to lacking HDC permits.

The decision to clear these structures was aimed at facilitating development and creating space for small businesses. Now, HDC is constructing new kiosks in the area to cater to business needs under regulated conditions.

HDC emphasised its commitment to utilizing available resources in Hulhumale' to enhance public services and support local business activities. The initiative underscores HDC's proactive approach in fostering sustainable development in the region.
