China Women's University (CWU) and the Ministry of Higher Education, Labour and Skills Development have discussed initiating training programmes for Maldivian students.
The discussions were held during Minister of Higher Education, Labour and Skills Development Dr. Maryam Mariya's visit to CWU, which was part of her official trip to China for the China-South Asia Political Leaders Programme. During her visit, Minister Mariya, who was invited by the university, explored potential training and exchange opportunities for Maldivian students in collaboration with CWU. She also highlighted that such initiatives would significantly enhance higher education in the Maldives.
China Women's University, which co-organizes the China-South Asia Political Leaders Programme, has a distinguished 75-year history. It operates in partnership with the All-China Women’s Federation and is renowned for its research and advocacy in women's rights, providing educational opportunities to women globally.
