Opportunities open to request to conduct Quran classes in mosques

The Ministry of Islamic Affairs has announced an opportunity for Quran teachers and Imams across the nation who are interested in offering Quran classes in mosques to request for permission.

The ministry has announced that individuals interested in conducting Quran classes are required to complete a specific application form and submit it before August 15, 1400hrs. The form is available at the following link: https://forms.gle/2tXnzJQo1ctrSFp36.

While Quran recitation classes have been conducted nationwide in previous years, they have not been sustainably offered free of charge. This new initiative, spearheaded by President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu, aims to provide free Quran classes nationwide and expand their availability. In addition, the president has committed to allocating land for the reconstruction of a Quran Centre, in line with the government's commitment to establish a national centre for Quran.
