MMPRC signs agreement with NHGAM to promote Maldives

The Maldives Marketing and Public Relations Corporation (MMPRC) and the National Hotel and Guest House Association of Maldives (NHGAM) have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) aimed at enhancing the reputation of the Maldives as a premier tourist destination. The agreement was signed by Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of MMPRC Ibrahim Shiuree and the Vice President of NHGAM Ahmed Waheed.

Under the strategic MoU, NHGAM will play a pivotal role in marketing activities and recruiting employees. Both parties will collaborate to promote the Maldives in various platforms such as the Asian Tourism Fair (AFT) 2024, enhance local tourism and strengthen the position of the Maldives as the top tier global tourism hub. ATF 2024 serves as a significant platform for fostering partnerships and cultural exchanges among governments, tourism enterprises, and development agencies across Asia.

Following the signing of the MoU, CEO Shiuree stated that the collaboration with NHGAM was a golden opportunity to enter competitive markets. MMPRC has been actively promoting the Maldives as a leading tourism destination in international markets.
