Vice President Hussain Mohamed Latheef has attended the swearing-in ceremony of Dr. Masoud Pezeshkian as the President of Iran.
Vice President Latheef attended the ceremony as the Special Envoy of President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu. He was received by Deputy Speaker of the Islamic Consultative Assembly of Iran Dr. Alaeddin Boroujerdi upon arrival at Imam Khomeini International Airport (IKA).
Pezeshkian was elected president after defeating top nuclear negotiator Saeed Jalili in the second round of the presidential election.
