Minister Zameer to partake in the OIC Conference

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has announced that Minister Moosa Zameer will be departing to Saudi Arabia tonight, to partake in the Extraordinary Open-ended Meeting of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Executive Committee.

The significant ministerial-level conference aims to address the brutal Israeli aggression against the Palestinians. The ministry revealed that the OIC meeting is being held at the invitation of Palestine and Iran, following the ongoing acts of genocide committed by Israel in Palestine and the assassination of Former Hamas leader in the Gaza Strip Ismail Haniyeh.

Furthermore, the ministry stated that Minister Zameer will deliver a speech in the one-day conference. The conference, scheduled for August 7, will be held at Jeddah in Saudi Arabia.
