President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu has conveyed Independence Day greetings to Congo.
President Dr. Muizzu extended warm greetings and sincere good wishes to the President of Congo Denis Sassou Nguesso, and the Prime Minister Anatole Collinet Makosso, on the occasion of Independence Day of the Republic of the Congo. In his message, the President extended heartfelt greetings and sincere good wishes to the government and citizens of the Congo, from the Maldives, as the Congo celebrates its independence.
Concluding the message, President Dr. Muizzu expressed his wishes for Congo's President and Prime Minister continued good health and wellbeing. He also wished for further progress and prosperity of the people of the Congo.
Congo's Independence Day is observed annually on August 15, marking the day in which it gained complete independence from France, in 1960.
