According to Meteorologist Hussain Waheed, the rainfall lasted for three and half consecutive hours.

Meteorologist Hussain Waheed stated that the MET Office anticipated more rainfall this year during the southwest monsoon, compared to other years. He revealed that the MET Office was well-prepared for the rainy season, noting that the season will last until December.
