The Housing Development Corporation (HDC) has opened applications to lease over 1,000 parking slots in the pocket parking zones in Hulhumale'.
The HDC said that a total of 1,374 parking slots across eight zones will be available for lease at USD 129.7 per month, for a duration of one year. As such, applicants must be at least 18 years old, with a Category B1 or C1 vehicle registered in the Greater Male' Region. The applicants must also be residents of the region.
The HDC has said that vehicles registered in Hulhumale' will receive first priority. After that, parking slots will be allocated to vehicles registered in the Greater Male' Region, excluding Hulhumale'. The allocation priority will be as follows: residents of Hulhumale' living in the same zone as the parking application, other Hulhumale' residents, and finally, residents of the Greater Male' Region.
The parking tenants will be selected through a draw among applicants within each zone. Applications are open until October 1 and can be submitted at the HDC reception desk from 0900-1400hrs on official working days.
