President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu has affirmed that the government will exert maximum efforts to formulate government policies, with public consideration. The remarks were made by the president while meeting with the Maldivians residing in New York, United States of America (USA), at the Permanent Mission of the Republic of the Maldives to the United Nations.
During the meeting, President Dr. Muizzu listened to the concerns of the Maldivians residing in the USA and inquired about their needs. He also discussed the challenges they encounter and how the government could provide assistance. The President affirmed that the administration would always strive to progress by engaging in open dialogue and listening attentively to the people. He added that the government is committed to developing policies that reflect the concerns and needs of the people.
Prior to the meeting, the President Dr. Muizzu signed the guest book of the Permanent Mission of the Republic of the Maldives to the United Nations. He is currently visiting New York to attend the 79th session of the General Assembly of the United Nations.
