Maldives invites Kuwaiti investors to contribute to development of the nation

President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu has extended an invitation to Kuwaiti investors, to contribute to the development of the Maldives. He extended the invitation during a meeting held with the Crown Prince of Kuwait Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Mubarak Al-Sabah, who is also the Head of the Delegation to the 79th session of the UN General Assembly (UNGA79). The bilateral meeting was held on the sidelines of the UNGA79.

During the meeting, President Dr. Muizzu expressed his sincere gratitude to the government of Kuwait for its continued support, particularly in the health sector. The president also emphasised Maldivian government's commitment to its development agenda, highlighting key areas requiring further assistance, including the enhancement of the transportation system. Additionally, he extended an invitation to Kuwaiti investors to invest in the Maldives and contribute to it's development.

Concluding the meeting, President Dr. Muizzu and the Crown Prince of Kuwait reaffirmed their dedication to collaborative efforts on matters of shared concern. Both leaders expressed their commitment to strengthening diplomatic and strategic relations in the future.
